4th and 1 Barbers was founded with a simple goal: to create a welcoming space where everyone feels at home and leaves looking and feeling their best. Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Tyon and Marcie Brown, our barbershop is built on passion and purpose.
After spending more than 25 years in the sales industry, Tyon made the bold decision to follow a long-held dream and attend barber college. What started as a career change quickly became something much deeper. Tyon envisioned a shop that wasn’t just about great haircuts, but about family and community—a place where his son Jacob, who has special needs, could spend time with him, feel comfortable, and be part of the environment.
That vision is at the heart of 4th and 1 Barbers today. We proudly serve a very diverse clientele, welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds, and hair types. Whether you’re here for a fresh cut or clean lineup, our shop is a place where respect and quality come first.
